Lost Dogs No 4 - Returned to Owner, October 2010

These two beautiful hounds had been seen running all over the place all morning.  When Angela returned home one of her neighbours came over to tell her about the dogs.  Angela and Richard took some leads with them and went to find them.  A few minutes later Angela spotted them and called them.  The hounds wandered straight over and Angela was able to put leads on them.  They were absolutely exhausted so were offered a drink and some shade for the afternoon on the terrace.  When the vets re-opened they were taken to see if they had a microchip, which they did.  They were registered to the same owner who came and collected them a few minutes later.  The difference a small microchip makes is amazing.
