Poppy came on holiday to Spain for the first time.  She met all the dogs at the refuge and 2 of the biggest were called Lucas and Tango.  Poppy was smitten by Tango.  At every opportunity she was there cuddling, talking and snuggling with this large galgo.  Beside the nice jobs of spending time with the dogs there is cleaning and picking up parcels that they have left and Poppy did them all.  She worked hard and spent time with all of them.  She helped bath a dog that was going to his new home in Germany and visited the vet.  Poppy also came to the stall and became very popular with the team.  All this and she is only 10 years old.  After her holiday she went back to England and tells everybody about us and writes stories of what we do.  She helped organise a fund raising evening at a local social club and she can't wait to come back in 2012.  And we can#t wait to have her back, come on Poppy we need you!!!!!!
